I have just organised with Karel Vissel of Kayakweather.com to supply me with forecasts via satphone during the expedition. Karel supplied my forecasts when I paddled across Bass Strait with a group of Tasmanian Sea Canoe Club paddlers 2 years ago and his forecasts were superb.
